  • TSoftPlus™ Introductory Training

    This introductory training is designed for new TSoftPlus users. The workshop focuses on the fundamental skills needed to use the software effectively to produce SBA transactions.

    Introduction to TSoftPlus

    Introductory training is required for first-time users of TSoftPlus.

    We have several software training options to fit your financial institution’s training needs. No matter what your position is - packager, underwriter, department manager, or SBA loan closer - you will benefit from this training.

    Course Content:

    Administration Training

    Administration training is for administrators who will set up and perform maintenance on the TSoftPlus. The following areas are covered:

    • Setting up organization name and address, phone, and charter information using our setup tool.
    • Setting up security by creating users and roles for those who will have access to the software and how to maintain them.
    • Maintaining SBA policies.
    • Setting up SBA Lender Status, FIRS ID number, and the 750 Date.
    • Setting up Service Agent and lender contact information.

    SBA Operations Training

    SBA Operations training is for users who will process loans in TSoftPlus. During training, the following topics are covered:

    • Navigating, online help, and support resources.
    • Using the Loan Status dashboard.
    • Entering and retrieving party information.
    • Using the eligibility determination and RMA ration analysis.
    • Using the financial analysis worksheets and reports.
    • Completing the SBA Loan Authorization Wizard.
    • Submitting applications using SBA’s E-Tran (PLP lenders and Express Loans) if applicable.
    • Processing SBA Application, closing and post closing documents.
    • Entering data directly on the SBA documents.
    • Previewing, printing and emailing the PDF files in a single document package.
    • Saving and retrieving existing transactions.
    • Reviewing additional features such as managing transactions, quick quotes and converting into a new loan.

    Prerequisites:

    • The software must be installed prior to the training event.
    • At least one participant must have a thorough understanding of the organization’s SBA lending policies, processes and products.
    • At least on participant must be familiar with applicable state and federal regulations.
    • Participants should feel comfortable with Microsoft® Excel and Word.
    • Participants should have a basic understanding of SBA lending.

    Training Options:

    • Web-Based Recorded Training – consists of a self-paced narrated session.
    • Group Web Training – consists of approximately three hours live training with other financial institutions. Question and answer time.
    • Interactive Web Training – consists of approximately three hours live training with only your financial institution. Question and answer time.
    • On-site – consists of one-day training at the client’s location for up to eight participants per session.
