  • ARTA Lending Introductory Training

    This introductory class is designed for new ARTA Lending users. The workshop focuses on the fundamental skills needed to use ARTA Lending and its modules effectively to produce loan documentation.

    Introduction to the ARTA Lending Documentation System — New Implementation

    Our approach to software training is instructor-led and participant-centered. Skills learned in the workshop are applied and reinforced in hands-on exercises. Practice time is incorporated into the course, including supervised lab time for participants to apply and augment their skills with the software.

    Introductory training is required for first-time implementations of ARTA Lending.

    Course Content:

    You will learn how to configure ARTA Lending for the needs of your financial institution and how to process loans using the software. This includes:

    • Navigating and using the Help tools
    • Setting up your financial institution's lender information, users, policy profiles, and rate plans
    • Processing application-related documents using the ARTA Credit Application Module
    • Pulling credit reports using the ARTA Credit Bureau Access Module
    • Processing consumer, commercial and residential real estate loans
    • Creating and using templates to make loan processing more efficient, accurate, and consistent
    • Saving and recalling loan files
    • Maintaining ARTA Lending by deleting files, and backing up your data, and
    • Identifying key activities to complete after training as you begin implementation of ARTA Lending at your financial institution.

    Prerequisites:

    • The software must be installed and the Installation Test Procedures must be completed at least one week prior to the training.

    • The ARTA Lending Setup Guide must be completed prior to the training.
    • Participants should feel comfortable using a mouse and with the basic features of Microsoft® Windows® applications.
    • At least one participant should have a thorough understanding of your organization's lending policies, loan process and loan products.
    • At least one participant should be familiar with your state and federal regulations.

    Training Options:

    • Group Classroom - consists of a three-day training at our St. Cloud, MN Training Center: 6815 Saukview Drive, St. Cloud, MN 56301 (Directions) with one or two participants per workstation. Please Note: Sessions may be cancelled due to low enrollment.
    • On-site - consists of a three to four-day training at the client's location for up to eight participants per session.
    • 1:1 Interactive Web Training - consists of a live tailored training with focus on specific topics. Number of hours to be determined based on topics to be covered.

    ARTA Lending Loan Operations Training for New Users

    We recognize that turnover is a fact of life for all businesses, including financial institutions. This training provides a basic introduction to the loan processing activities using the ARTA Lending System.

    This training is available to financial institutions that already have ARTA Lending installed and set up within their organization, but have people who are new to using ARTA Lending to process transactions.

    Course Content:

    In this training we will address how to process many types of loan transactions using the ARTA Lending System. This includes:

    • Consumer Loan
    • Commercial Line of Credit
    • Consumer Real Estate, including early disclosures
    • Open-End Consumer Loan
    • Home Equity Line of Credit
    • How to use ARTA Lending’s optional modules
    • Application
    • Identity verification using the PATRIOT Act Connection
    • Credit Bureau
    • Flood Determination
    • HOEPA Calculations
    • HMDA Tracking
    • Document Review

    • Your financial institution must already be using the ARTA Lending System within your organization.
