Presentation Will Offer Guidance for Managing Regulatory Compliance Expectations

Wolters Kluwer today announced that its regulatory compliance consultants, Thomas Grundy and Amy Downey, will speak on the topic “Fortifying the Three Lines of Defense to Combat Compliance Risk” in a workshop presentation as part of the ICBA LIVE 2016 conference, March 6-10. The presentation will take place 8:40 a.m. – 9:35 a.m. Tuesday, March 8 at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans.

“Regulators are clarifying the definition of the three lines of defense, expecting entities to reexamine how they align and work together across the organization,” said Grundy. “This presentation is intended to offer insights on best practices and emerging trends in compliance risk management, including the use of technology to enhance financial institutions’ performance”

The presentation will also shed light on regulator expectations for establishing an enterprise risk appetite, managing compliance risks, and ways for holding all three lines of defense responsible and accountable.

Attendees can gain Continuing Professional Education credits for this session. For more information, visit the Independent Community Bankers of America ICBA Live conference website.
