Wolters Kluwer Financial Services has a busy week of speaking engagements ahead in Europe. Today the firm sponsors and speaks at an Amsterdam event organized by The Professional Risk Managers' International Association (PRMIA) on interest rate risk. And on November 24th and 25th the firm will sponsor and speak at an International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) themed summit in Madrid, organized by the European Networking Group (ENG).
At the PRMIA event, held at The Amsterdam Institute of Finance, Xavier Dubois, senior Risk & Finance specialist at Wolters Kluwer Financial Services, will propose a practical methodology to become compliant with the new regulation on the Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book. Also speaking at the event, sponsored by Wolters Kluwer Financial Services, is Zdenka van Schaik, policy advisor at the quantitative policy department of the Nederlandsche Bank, providing a regulatory perspective. Wilson Jan Kansil, senior advisor at ABN Amro Bank, will also discuss the implications of the new regulatory landscape for risk management.
Next week’s conference, meanwhile, will focus on the challenges of IFRS. The ENG organized event, sponsored by Wolters Kluwer Financial Services, features IFRS experts from across Europe. Jeroen Van Doorsselaere, global Market Management director, Business Development, Finance, IFRS and Performance at Wolters Kluwer Financial Services, will speak on IFRS 9 Impairment, providing a cross departmental view, exploring challenges, implementation and timelines. Gregory Pankhurst, sales manager for Spain and Portugal at Wolters Kluwer Financial Services, will also chair the second day of the event, held at The InterContinental, Madrid.
