Chuck Ross is vice president and general manager of Compliance Program Management and Investment Compliance for the Wolters Kluwer Governance, Risk & Compliance division. He is responsible for leading the overall performance and growth strategy of the business unit.
Ross has more than two decades' experience within the financial services industry. Previously, he was vice president and general manager of the Insurance and Investment Compliance Services unit of the Governance, Risk & Compliance division. In this role, he led a team of deep subject matter experts who develop content and technology to help blue-chip brokerages and fund investment firms meet rigorous tax reporting requirements, as well as to help leading insurers stay on top of rapidly changing, often complex regulations. Early in his career at Wolters Kluwer, Ross was vice president and general manager of the GainsKeeper offering, which provides sophisticated technology for investment tax reporting and compliance with cost basis reporting requirements.
Prior to Wolters Kluwer, Ross held senior leadership roles with Morgan Stanley’s Real Estate/Lend Lease Integration and Lend Lease Equity Assets businesses. He also was a consultant at Monitor Co., an international consulting firm addressing strategic issues facing senior management of Fortune 500 companies, and he prepared economic forecasts and analyzed economic indicators as a senior research assistant at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston.
Ross has a bachelor’s degree in economics, cum laude, from Bowdoin College, Brunswick, Maine. He also holds a master’s in business administration from Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, Philadelphia.
